The powerful video for rapper Talib Kweli’s song “Distractions” is, in his words, “a love letter to the Occupy Movement everywhere." The song was originally inspired by the Arab Spring before the Occupy Movement even began, but once Kweli made a trip to New York last fall and saw the protests, he was extremely moved. “It was the most democratic, American thing I had ever witnessed,” he said in a statement.
