After months of protests at the University of Missouri over racial tensions and other issues, a the group Concerned Student 1950 won an extraordinary coup on Monday. The victory emerged after a hunger strike by 25-year old graduate student Jonathan Butler inspired a labor strike of the University’s football team forcing the resignation of University President Timothy Wolfe, as well as the chancellor, R. Bowen Loftin.

Also, the Million Student March popped off on November 12, with students at over 100 colleges and universities here in the United State staging protest demanding Free College tuition, full student loan forgiveness for all and a $15 minimum wage for campus workers. We’ll talk with Million Student March organizer Keely Mullen.
